“ Had a private chalet experience for a friends birthday. The waiter was very attentive and helped us pick out which wines to get for the evening. I got the Orecchiette and it was very nice, my one note being the noodles were a little more al dente than I prefer, but not an issue at all. Would come back for special occasions. ”
“ A.M.A.Z.I.N.G Food was absolutely delicious. We opted to go for two appetizers which were perfectly portioned to snack on while you have some cocktails and wait for the main course. We left feeling the perfect bit of full - not overly stuffed but also would not eat anymore after we left. This is a unique spot in that you can reserve chalets on a beautiful private patio in the back; however they were all booked when we went. Oh well, we know for next time. But I do highly recommend that experience. The service was a tad slower than we would have liked but I think it was just an off night. I had been here previously and the service was exceptional. This is a perfect spot for ladies night out, date night, birthday celebrations, etc. ”
“ We were walk ins tonight at Edera. We sat at the bar. The maitre'de told us on arrival that they have a packed house and it may take a while for the food and we were fine with that. However, That was not the case, everything came out in a timely fashion. We ordered their fabulous Smoked Caesar salad. We also had the Chicken Ricotta Pizza. It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were very complimentary of each other. Drew, the General Manager came over to us twice, to see how things were, reminded me of an old-school restaurant where Customer service was first and foremost. The igloo's outside added another cool touch. All in all, another great visit to Edera! A must try for St. Louis foodies ”
“ Enjoyed a nice romantic date night. I really enjoyed eating outside in the chalets. It was very cold out so definitely bundle up but they did have a heater inside. The service was very fast and the waiter Alejandro was great, he explained a lot of the menu and made it very easy for us to order. Our drinks were delicious, I ordered the scallops entree which was delicious and it came with grilled octopus as well. My boyfriend ordered the pappardelle bolognese and it was delicious. I will definitely be going back this summer to check out their beautiful patio and try the pizza ”
“ Right when you come in, the place immediately has an upscale, romantic vibe. We were seated in a comfy, cozy booth with plenty of room - an immediate plus with yours truly. Our waiter, Alex stopped by shortly after to introduce himself. I told him my husband was still looking for a parking spot and he left me alone until he got in. I appreciate that. I'm sure others would prefer to order a drink but I don't like to have the waiter come back numerous times for one drink order at a time. Just my preference. Anyway, when he found out it was our first time, he quickly explained some of the menu items to us and which were people's favorites. Then he told us the specials for the evening. After our drinks were ordered and brought to the table (I had a pinot noir and my husband had a cocktail that had some torched marshmallow), we placed an order of the aracini. There were 4 in a serving over roasted, garlic honey aioli and covered with freshly grated pecorino. Very delicious but also a little filling. I was hungry but I didn't want to fill up on our starters so I left one to take home while my husband devoured two. I ordered the fish special served with layered potatoes, and other delicious things I could not remember. My husband had the Capicola pizza. I really wanted to try it as it did look wonderful and delicious but simply did not have room for it without sacrificing room for dessert. My fish was excellent and as our waiter promised, came out tender and flaky, not at all dry. I ended up taking some leftover home which heated up really well for lunch the next day. Of course, I couldn't skip dessert. They had so many tempting options including a dark chocolate tart that he stated was a special for the new year but I went with the espresso panna cotta topped with some meringue crumble. So good and the coffee flavor is dominant which is what I was hoping for in an espresso dessert. Service was great, overall. Our waiter came by to check on us but not so frequently that it was annoying or distracting while we dined. Everyone was friendly and professional. I have no complaints. I'm glad my husband chose to take me here for our first Friday night dinner in 2025. It was a fabulous place with delicious food, and top-notch service. A great start to the year, for sure! ”
“ Edera was a great place for a small group dinner. The appetizers were tasty - definitely recommend the arancini. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The main appetizers were decent but there are definitely better Italian places in STL. ”
“ My wife and another couple went here for a Saturday, 7:30pm dinner inside their "Winter Chalet Igloo". Once we got seated, everything was top notch. We had multiple waiters and servers come in and check on us to see if we needed drinks or more food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained each dish and drink with great detail. We all ordered a pasta dish and the portion size was great, but the taste was even better. My wife and I split one ordered the Caesar Salad and we were very pleased with it. Sitting inside the igloo chalet was a pleasant experience as you got to control the temperature inside. Inside Edera was very aesthetic as well. Overall, we will be back for drinks and most importantly the food! ”
“ Our group reserved a chalet which is a a heated little see through house in which to dine "outside". Different and fun experience. Because there are two timed seatings, service is prompt, efficient but cordial and helpful. Food choices were amazing. If you're looking for special occasion dining , this is it. Casual yet fine dining. Outside noise detracted a bit but not the restaurant's blame. ”
“ Just FANTASTIC! We ate in a chalet on the patio, which makes for a reeeeally nice atmosphere. Both cocktails that I had were terrific! ALL the food was SO delicious! There was much sharing at the table, so I got to try many items. Just lovely! And the desserts were fantastic too. Well worth the money here. The service was impeccable! My one complaint is I can't find a cocktail menu or a dessert menu online so I can't label my pictures correctly.... ”
“ So you said you want a sexy date night with good ambiance, drinks, food, service, and dessert.... well this is it!! We've been 3 times and every time was absolutely outstanding. A beautiful very open interior that is classy without being stuffy, but also welcoming without being overly casual. The pasta... yeah pick any and you'll be in heaven. You can tell is fresh and all the ingredients marry. But hands down the scallops are the best thing they have. See i do NOT like olives, but the chef at Edera had somehow manage to make a dish so delicious and well balanced that I actually ate and enjoyed the olive element of the dish. As a self proclaimed foodie, this had even impressed me. The drinks are delicious. Our service has been been helpful and fun every time. And literally the cherry on top is that the dessert is worth saving some room. Do yourself a favor and go. I'll be trying the pics mpizza on the next visit! ”
